Refund Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Teams run by My 1st Coach can use My 1st Coach Teams to collect fees from families — season dues, registration, uniforms or tournament costs. This page explains how refunds work for those payments.
Coaches decide refunds
Fees are set by your team's coach and collected by My 1st Coach for the team. The coach decides whether a fee can be refunded — for example if a player leaves the team, a season is cancelled, or you were charged by mistake. Ask your coach about their policy before you pay.
How to ask for a refund
- Contact your coach. They can arrange a full or partial refund.
- If you can't reach them, email support@my1stcoach.org with your team name, the fee and the date you paid, and we'll help you get in touch.
When the money comes back
Refunds go back to the card or bank account you paid with. They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. You'll see the refund in your payment history.
Cancelled practices and games
A single cancelled or rescheduled practice or game doesn't automatically refund a fee. Season fees usually cover the whole season; check with your team.
Card disputes
Please contact your coach before disputing a charge with your bank — most problems are fixed faster that way. If you do file a dispute, we'll respond to it through our payment processor, Stripe.
Service fees
There's no added service or card fee on team payments — you pay the amount shown. If that ever changes, any fee will be shown before you pay, along with whether it's refundable.
